Role Description The Lab Manager role at Dr Remedies Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role oversees daily laboratory operations, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and coordination of testing activities to ensure accurate and timely results. The Lab Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The role includes supervising and mentoring laboratory staff, supporting research and development initiatives,



and collaborating with clinicians and internal teams to optimize diagnostic services. The Lab Manager also contributes to process improvement, documentation, inventory management, and efficient utilization of technology and automation within the lab.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust laboratory skills and hands-on experience working in clinical or diagnostic laboratories.
- Candidates should possess quality control expertise and knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards relevant to diagnostic labs.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in managing and maintaining laboratory equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and supporting accurate clinical decision-making.
- Candidates should possess experience in research and development (R&D;), method validation, and implementation of new assays and technologies.
- Relevant degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pathology, or a related life sciences field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in laboratory leadership or supervisory roles, with the ability to train, mentor, and manage diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, familiarity with LIMS and automated lab systems, and ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
