XML International is looking for an experienced Legal Contracts Specialist to support our global employment and contractor contracting operations across 120+ countries.

This is a hands-on legal contracting role with an important leadership component. You will take ownership of employment and contractor agreements while providing guidance, quality assurance and operational support across the wider Contracts team.

What You'll Do

- Review and redline employment and contractor contracts, including amendments and terminations.
- Ensure contracts accurately reflect client agreements and XML commitments.
- Manage and enhance contract templates within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
- Oversee contract and end-date management across designated countries.
- Respond to candidate and stakeholder queries regarding contractual terms.
- Review contract work completed by other team members and provide guidance and quality assurance.
- Support workload prioritisation, allocation and escalation management.
- Provide operational backup to the Contracts Team Lead when required.
- Support process improvement,



standardisation and contracting best practices.
- Contribute to onboarding, coaching and knowledge-sharing across the team.
- Work closely with HR, Account Management, Payroll and other internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Degree-level education with a legal qualification.

3–5+ years of experience in contract drafting and lifecycle management, with strong exposure to employment and contractor agreements.

Demonstrated people leadership or team coordination experience, including formal or acting lead/manager responsibilities.

Solid stakeholder management, emotional intelligence and decision-making capabilities.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. JD_Contracts Specialist_XML

Strong understanding of employment/labour law

Experience in global, multi-jurisdictional environments

Experience reviewing or overseeing the work of other legal/contracts professionals

Ability to provide structure and sound judgement in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
