**Job Title** **SAP S/4HANA Transformation - Transportation Management (TM) / SD Lead** **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **SAP S/4HANA SD / Transportation Management (TM) Lead** to lead **transportation and logistics execution workstreams** in large-scale **SAP S/4HANA transformation projects** . The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of transportation planning, execution, settlement, and carrier integration, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4 HANA best practices and enterprise logistics strategies. The TM Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver a scalable, compliant, and high-performing transportation solution. **Key Responsibilities** **S/4HANA SD/ TM Workstream Leadership** + Lead **SAP SD / TM workstreams** in S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition). + Own end-to-end **Transportation Planning, Execution, and Settlement** processes. + Act as the primary escalation point for TM-related topics. **Solution Design & Delivery** + Drive solution design and hands-on configuration for **SAP SD / TM** , including: + Freight Order and Freight Unit management + Transportation planning (manual and optimizer-based) + Carrier selection, tendering, and subcontracting + Freight settlement and charge calculation + Ensure alignment with **S/4HANA logistics architecture** and SAP best practices. **S/4HANA Transformation Activities** + Lead **Fit-to-Standard (F2S)** workshops and logistics process harmonization. + Assess and manage **custom code (RICEFW) impacts** for TM in S/4HANA. + Guide logistics and transportation **master data conversion and validation** . **Integration & Cross-Module Coordination** + Coordinate closely with **SD, MM, WM/EWM, GTS, and FI/CO** teams. + Ensure seamless integration across **Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Warehouse, and Transportation** processes. + Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, CPI, middleware) for carrier interfaces and tracking integrations. **Testing, Cutover & Go-Live** + Lead **unit testing,



SIT, UAT** , and defect management for TM scenarios. + Own **cutover planning** for open shipments, freight orders, and settlement data. + Provide **go-live and hypercare support** , ensuring logistics continuity. **Governance & Team Leadership** + Ensure adherence to **SAP Activate methodology** , project standards, and documentation. + Review and approve functional designs, configurations, and test artifacts. + Mentor TM consultants and support knowledge transfer. **Required Skills & Experience** **SAP SD / TM Expertise** + 10-12+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in: + SAP Transportation Management, SD + Logistics Execution and Transportation processes + At least **2-3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation projects** in a SD / TM Lead role. + Strong understanding of **end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations** . **S/4HANA & Logistics Knowledge** + Experience with: + Embedded TM in S/4HANA + TM integration with EWM, SD, MM, and GTS + Freight settlement and charge calculation + Exposure to **real-time tracking, carrier collaboration portals, or IoT integration** is a plus. + Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation and discussion with business team, is an added advantage. **Leadership & Delivery Skills** + Proven experience leading TM delivery in large SAP programs. + Robust stakeholder management and communication skills. + Experience working in **global, multi-country and onshore-offshore delivery models** . **Preferred Qualifications** + SAP S/4HANA certification in Transportation Management + Experience with **SAP Activate methodology** + Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, or Logistics Service Providers + Exposure to **Advanced ATP, Yard Logistics, or EWM** is an advantage **Soft Skills** + Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities + Ability to translate complex logistics requirements into SAP solutions + Mentoring and coaching mindset + Excellent documentation and presentation skills **Location & Work Model** + Location: As per project requirements + Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite / Offshore (project dependent)
