Job Description Overview
Our client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong SAP ECC experience to lead a process discovery and documentation initiative. The organization has extensive institutional knowledge and established business processes, but much of that knowledge exists through conversations rather than formal documentation.
The goal of this engagement is to capture current-state processes, understand application usage across SAP ECC and Vista, document operational workflows, and establish the foundation for future transformation initiatives, including process modeling in Signavio and longer-term AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead structured discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders
Facilitate workshops to uncover how teams are currently operating within SAP ECC and Vista
Ask probing questions and drive conversations to uncover undocumented processes, dependencies, and business rules
Document current-state workflows, process maps, and operational procedures
Identify system owners, process owners, integrations, and key stakeholders
Translate verbal knowledge into formal documentation and process artifacts
Create process flows and supporting documentation for ingestion into Signavio
Develop a centralized repository of process and application knowledge
Partner with business teams to validate and refine process documentation
Support understanding of VPN 2.0 modeling and related business processes




Provide recommendations on process standardization opportunities and future-state readiness $20/hr Skills and Requirements Robust Business Systems Analysis experience
Deep SAP ECC experience
Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops
Process mapping and business process documentation expertise
Ability to navigate ambiguous environments with limited existing documentation
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Experience working across business and technology teams
Ability to independently drive discussions and get to root causes
Vista ERP experience
Signavio experience
Manufacturing environment experience
SAP transformation or S/4HANA readiness experience
