Summary As a
Lead Engineer – Embedded SW Development (LPB2), you will be a
technical cornerstone in the development and evolution of the
Mark VIe control platform. Operating within a global,
cross-functional environment, you will drive the design,
implementation, and optimization of firmware for state-of-the-art
power generation control systems. You will provide technical
leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to ensure the
reliability and performance of embedded software — all while
embodying the GE Vernova Way through a relentless focus on safety,

Description
Essential
Responsibilities Technical Leadership : Translate
high-level system requirements into robust firmware architectures
and low-level design specifications. Full-Cycle
Development: Lead the design, coding, testing, and
debugging of mission-critical system software for the Mark VIe
platform. Performance
Optimization: Analyze and enhance the efficiency,
stability, and scalability of system resources to meet stringent




power generation requirements. Validation &
Integration: Integrate recent product designs and
collaborate with firmware test teams to develop, perform, and
oversee formal design verification and validation (V&V;)
plans. Quality
Assurance: Lead high-quality technical reviews,
including detailed design, source code, unit test frameworks, and
requirement documentation. Cross-Functional
Collaboration: Serve as a primary interface between
hardware design, systems engineering, and product
teams. Continuous
Improvement: Champion automated unit and regression
testing initiatives; foster a culture of continuous improvement in
both product quality and development
processes. Lifecycle
Management: Manage software throughout the entire
product development lifecycle, from project initiation and design
to release and long-term maintenance. Assessment: Evaluate
