About The Role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, secure backend systems. You’ll work on APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure that power mission-critical applications used by thousands of users.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop scalable APIs using Node.js or Python
• Build, optimize, and maintain database schemas
• Implement security best practices for APIs and data
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor performance and debug production issues
• Collaborate with frontend teams on API contracts
• Contribute to architectural decisions
• Document APIs and system workflows

Required Skills

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js or Python
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• REST API & GraphQL design
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Microservices architecture knowledge




• Docker & Kubernetes experience
• Event-driven systems & message queues

Preferred Skills

• TypeScript and up-to-date JavaScript
• Serverless (AWS Lambda, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Monitoring & observability tools
• Testing & TDD practices
• Security & compliance knowledge
