Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Chandigarh. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and distributors, and expanding market presence for STIPL Roofz products. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, manage the sales pipeline, prepare and deliver product presentations, negotiate contracts, and follow up on leads to convert opportunities into revenue. Day-to-day activities include visiting client sites, coordinating with internal teams for pricing and proposals, tracking sales performance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with marketing to support promotional initiatives and representing the company at industry events and trade shows when required.

Qualifications
• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification,



and negotiation.
• Experience in client relationship management and account management, preferably within building materials or construction-related industries.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop strategic plans to drive growth in assigned territories.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers and influencers.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM tools) and comfort working with sales reporting systems.
• Proven ability to work on-site, travel within the region, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.
