Wood India Consulting Division is currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer- CMMS Maintenance to join our Digital Operations team.

This position is based in Chennai and because success in the role will require in-person contact with the team, remote work is not an option.

The Role

This role is responsible for the development of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data builds, data validation and for providing input in support of project and client requirements.

You will also be responsible for end-to-end asset data validation, structuring, and integration into enterprise asset management systems (EAM/CMMS) such as SAP or Maximo.

Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and managing hierarchical asset structures, functional locations, job plans, BOMs, PMs, task lists, and routes to ensure optimal system performance and maintainability.

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Process or Utility industry, ideally gained in operations or maintenance of process related equipment.
- Ability to understand detailed engineering drawings and data content is essential. Familiarity with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2, ASME Section I, TEMA, API 650, API 660, HEI, EN-13458 & statutory requirements of PED 2014/68/EU, MOM, DOSH, CCOE & U Stamp applicable for CI Packages, pig launchers/receivers, pressure vessels, reactors, limpet vessels, jacket vessels, cryogenic tanks,



stacked shell and tube heat exchanger, plate type heat exchanger, reboilers, compressors, turbines, pumps, etc. Knowledge of HVAC equipment and Mechanical Handling studies is preferred. Intimate knowledge of BoMs, PM Schedule of power distribution system, cable sizing, MV & LV switchgears, electro-mechanical equipment such as transformers, motor control centres, switchgears, motors, motor drives, lighting, protection relays, grounding system, electric heat tracing, fire alarm system, lighting illumination calculations, tray layouts, generators, battery chargers, cathodic protection systems, etc., Spares, Long Term Storage requirement and Preservation requirement across typical offshore platforms. Familiarity with NEMA, ANSI and IEC based codes, standards and regulations.
- Demonstrable involvement in supporting development of maintenance data builds and data optimization projects for CMMSs like IBM Maximo, SAP PM & MM, Q4, Emaint, IFS, Oracle EAM, Aveva APM, GE APM, Bentley Asset Wise APM
- Participation in Pre-Commissioning Loop Tests, FATs/SITs, Plant Commissioning, knowledge of PTW systems, COSHH, LOLER & HSSE regulations is beneficial.
- Knowledge of PDMS/E3D/Smart3D specs, catalogues and architectures is beneficial.
