Role: Informatica PowerCenter Expert

Notice period: Immediate - 15days required

Responsibilities:

Develop the specifications (functional and design) for a new component that:

Parses/de-serializes Informatica PowerCenter code from export XML files

Semantically interprets it after parsing

Derives column-level data lineage from it

Develop the specifications (functional and design) for a recent component or instructions for exporting the code from an Informatica PowerCenter environment into XML files

Contribute to:

- The software architecture and design of the components
- The creation or modification of AI Assistant prompts and skill files to be used in implementing the aforementioned component
- Creation of testing approach, test cases and test data to validate the components
- Ensuring the new components integrate well with existing DataDNA Lite solution





Use AI effectively in the above activities

- Prompt engineering
- Evaluating AI output for correctness & completeness

Support the team in terms of Informatica PowerCenter expertise - inputs, clarification, etc.

Skills:

- In-depth expertise in Informatica PowerCenter: Various types of objects, Common design and coding patterns, Object properties and configurations, etc.
- Experience with the runtime logs and information contained in them
- Experience with the XML exports and information contained in them
- Experience of parsing XML exports and runtime logs
- Experience or familiarity with data lineage domain
- Experience of using LLM-based development tools like Claude Code
- Familiarity with software architecture
