We're looking for an E-commerce Catalogue Trainee who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn the ins and outs of managing online product listings across platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce.

Role Overview

The E-commerce Catalogue Trainee will be responsible for uploading, organizing, and maintaining product listings across multiple brand websites. You will collaborate closely with the design, content, and operations teams to ensure that every product page reflects accuracy, consistency, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Upload and update product listings on Shopify and WooCommerce, including images, descriptions, pricing, and inventory details.
- Maintain catalogue accuracy by performing regular audits and ensuring products are categorized correctly.
- Write SEO-optimised product titles and descriptions that align with brand tone and improve search visibility.
- Manage collections, tags, filters, and attributes to enhance user navigation.
- Ensure product data consistency across websites, marketplaces, and internal databases.
- Assist in setting up promotions, discounts, and product visibility settings during campaigns.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure images, banners,



and thumbnails meet web standards.
- Coordinate with the content and marketing teams to support new product launches and seasonal collections.
- Perform regular quality checks to identify errors in listings, broken links, or missing assets.
- Generate weekly catalogue performance reports and share insights with the operations team.

Requirements

- 0–1 year of experience in e-commerce catalogue management or related roles.
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce CMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO practices, product data management, and digital merchandising.
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for bulk uploads and product tracking.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work across multiple brands and manage tight deadlines.
- A go-getter and self-starter with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Must be based in or open to relocating to Chennai.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
