Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor Intern at Laneway. The intern will assist in editing video content for consulting, technology, and media projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and assembling footage, applying basic color correction, adding transitions, integrating graphics or motion elements, and preparing content for various social media and digital platforms.



The intern will collaborate with the media and marketing team, follow creative briefs, maintain organized project files, and meet agreed timelines. There may be opportunities to contribute ideas to storyboarding, content concepts, and optimization of video assets for different channels.
Qualifications

- Ability to work with core video production and Video Editing tools to assemble and refine footage.
- Skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and quality across video assets.
- Experience or familiarity with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and overlays.
- Basic understanding of social media and digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and video formats.
- Proficiency with common editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow creative direction and feedback.
- Capacity to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program (media, film, design, communications) is beneficial but not mandatory.
