Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Solution Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Informatica, Snowflake, and Enterprise Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing enterprise-scale data architectures, leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives, driving technical presales engagements, and establishing best practices for scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.

The candidate should have strong technical expertise combined with solution architecture, client advisory, estimation, proposal development, and technical team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures using GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
- Architect and implement enterprise ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Informatica MDM, and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Design and optimize Snowflake data platforms, including data migration, performance tuning, data sharing, security, and cost optimization.
- Lead modernization and migration of legacy and on-premises data platforms to GCP and Snowflake.
- Develop enterprise data models, Star and Snowflake schemas, complex SQL/PLSQL solutions, and optimized data integration workflows.
- Define data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, metadata management, and enterprise data management frameworks.
- Build reporting and analytics solutions using Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Integrate DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build,



and Terraform.
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, solution assessments, architecture design, effort estimation, and risk analysis.
- Lead technical presales engagements, including RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), proof of concepts (POCs), technical presentations, and customer workshops.
- Present solution architectures and cloud transformation roadmaps to customer leadership and business stakeholders.
- Mentor data engineers and architects, drive technical enablement, and contribute to Data Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives.
- Ensure successful delivery through architecture governance, Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Mandatory Skills

- 12–15 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, or Solution Architecture.
- Strong expertise in GCP, particularly BigQuery and associated data engineering services.
- Mandatory hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Informatica MDM, and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, migration, performance optimization, and security.
- Expertise in SQL/PLSQL, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
- Experience with cloud migration, data modernization, and enterprise-scale data platform implementations.
- Proven technical presales experience, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, estimation, solution presentations, and POCs.
- Strong communication, client-facing, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and advanced data analytics.
- Experience with Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Cloud Build, and Terraform.
- Experience establishing or contributing to a Data CoE.
- Relevant GCP, Informatica, or Snowflake certifications.
