- Check alignment, spacing, image quality, text placement, and export settings before submitting work

- Manage assigned deadlines, communicate progress, and flag missing inputs or competing priorities early

- Organise source files, fonts, and assets so approved work is easy to find, edit, and hand over

- A strong understanding of typography, colour, composition, spacing, and visual hierarchy

- Proficiency in relevant design software and the ability to produce editable, well-organised files

- Ability to interpret a brief and develop designs that serve its purpose and suit the intended audience

- Attention to detail and consistency when working across multiple formats, assets, and brands

- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions without relying only on personal preference

- Willingness to take feedback, explore alternatives, and refine work through revisions

- Valuable time management and a responsible approach to deadlines, teamwork, and file handovers

- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio and practical skills are equally valuable

Knowledge That Will Help

- Brand identity and the application of visual guidelines

- Social media formats and digital advertising layouts

- Image editing, retouching, and visual asset selection

- Presentation design and information hierarchy

- Website and email layout fundamentals

- Print preparation, colour modes, resolution, and file formats

- Basic motion graphics and video editing

- Responsible use of AI tools, asset licensing, and originality

Motion design, illustration, or UI design skills are practical additions. Your portfolio should make your own contribution to each project clear.

Tools You May Work With

- Adobe Photoshop

- Adobe Illustrator

- Adobe InDesign

- Figma

- Canva

- Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for motion and video tasks

- Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint

- Google Drive and shared asset folders

- Basecamp or similar project management platforms

You should be confident with the core tools you use for design. Familiarity with every platform listed is not required; be ready to learn the tools needed for assigned work.

Why join us

- Creative work for clients across different industries

- Collaboration with content, marketing, and strategy teams

- Opportunities to develop ideas from initial concept through to final delivery

- A team workplace where questions, feedback, and creative ideas are encouraged
