Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on PLC Automation Engineer to develop, test, commission and troubleshoot automation systems for pharmaceutical machinery, including filling, packaging, assembly and containment equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs for machine automation.
- Develop and modify HMI/SCADA screens, alarms, recipes and machine parameters.
- Configure and commission servo motors, servo drives, VFDs and sensors.
- Develop machine sequences, interlocks, safety logic and automatic/manual operations.
- Integrate PLCs with drives, weighing systems, vision systems and other third-party equipment.
- Read and understand electrical schematics, I/O lists and control-panel drawings.
- Conduct machine testing, FAT/SAT and commissioning at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot automation issues during machine assembly, commissioning and production.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support using tools such as Ewon/VPN/TeamViewer/AnyDesk.




- Prepare automation documentation and support PLC/software validation activities.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal / S7 PLCs; knowledge of other PLC platforms is an advantage.
- Positive knowledge of HMI, servo, VFD, sensors and industrial communication.
- Knowledge of protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP/RTU.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot machine-level electrical/automation issues.
- Good understanding of machine sequencing, interlocks and motion control.
- Willingness to travel for installation, commissioning and customer support.

Education

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering.

Preferred Experience

Experience in pharmaceutical machinery, packaging machinery, SPMs or machine-building automation will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on automation engineer who can independently handle PLC programming → HMI → machine testing → FAT → commissioning → troubleshooting → customer support.
