As an Area Service Officer, you will become the frontline technical representative for our suite of POS machines, ensuring that merchants experience uninterrupted transaction processing. The role blends hands‑on hardware repair with customer interaction, requiring a balance of technical aptitude and interpersonal skills.

On a typical day, you will travel to various client sites across the Pune metropolitan area, equipped with a company‑issued toolkit and a smartphone for real‑time reporting. Upon arrival, you will assess the POS unit, identify any hardware faults such as faulty card readers, printer issues, or power supply problems, and execute repairs or replacements on the spot. If a problem exceeds your on‑site capabilities, you will log detailed diagnostics in our ticketing system and coordinate with the central support hub for advanced troubleshooting or part dispatch.

Success in this role hinges on your ability to manage time efficiently, navigate Pune’s traffic using a personal two‑wheeler, and communicate technical information in layman's terms. A valid driving license and a reliable two‑wheeler are mandatory, as is a smartphone for accessing the service app, capturing images of issues, and receiving daily assignments.

The training program will cover POS hardware architecture, common fault patterns, and the use of diagnostic equipment. Throughout the training period and beyond, you will receive mentorship from senior field engineers, enabling you to develop a robust skill set that is highly valued in the payments industry.

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from INR 18,000 to 20,000 per month, supplemented by a daily allowance of INR 774, a fuel reimbursement of INR 4,000‑5,000, and statutory benefits such as Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESIC). Performance‑based incentives are also part of the package, rewarding high client satisfaction scores and efficient issue resolution.
