Role Description The Junior Sous Chef – Breads will support the bakery team in producing high-quality breads and related baked items in line with Theobroma’s standards and recipes. This full-time, in office role is based in Bengaluru and involves hands-on preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking of various bread products. The role includes assisting in daily production planning, maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards, monitoring ingredient quality,



and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The Junior Sous Chef – Breads will collaborate with senior chefs, help train junior staff, manage mise en place, and contribute to new bread ideas while meeting production timelines.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong bread-making skills, including dough handling, fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in bakery or patisserie operations, preferably in a commercial or hotel kitchen environment.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
