About the role

The Manager, Rights Management oversees the day-to-day administration and quality of content-rights data in Rightsline. This role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Rights & Scheduling, ensures that rights information received from Business Affairs and Content Acquisition is complete, interpretable, accurately configured, and maintained through approved controls.

The Manager is responsible for operational execution and leading a team to review source terms, enter and update content-rights attributes, identify discrepancies, managing exceptions,



and coordinating resolution with the appropriate business or technology partner. The role is a key point of accountability for Rightsline data quality and timely rights changes while maintaining explicit separation from financial-term entry, scheduling, and avails ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Content rights entry: responsible for entering content details from contracts (titles, territories, languages, windows, media, restrictions) into Rightsline, the system of record that carries rights to distribution channels (SVOD, digital manga, theatrical, home video), following approved workflows and standards.Perform quality checks and reconciliation: regularly audit datasets to ensure completeness, accuracy and clarity, and resolve discrepancies.
