Company Description All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and representing stakeholders in the gem and jewellery sector across India. Role Description The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving membership and participation in Council programs, initiatives, and events. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai involves identifying prospective members and partners, presenting Council offerings, and maintaining strong relationships with existing stakeholders. Daily activities include conducting outreach via calls, meetings,



and presentations; gathering market feedback from gem and jewellery businesses; and supporting promotional campaigns and events organized by the Council. The Sales Executive will also prepare basic sales reports, maintain accurate records of interactions, and collaborate with internal teams to improve services and engagement.
Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of sales processes, including lead generation, follow-up, and relationship management.
• Ability to understand and explain Council programs, benefits, and initiatives clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in maintaining records, using email and office productivity tools, and preparing straightforward reports.
• Prior experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably in the gem and jewellery or related sectors.
• Comfortable working on-site in Chennai and conducting regular field visits and
