As a Diagnostic Technologies Software Engineer (DTSE), you will be a key member of the Service Systems and Architecture team within the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). Your primary mission is to develop high-quality diagnostic software and libraries to be integrated into Ford’s global diagnostic products. You will join a high-impact organization spanning Business Systems and Global Diagnostics & Repair Solutions to drive innovation in the vehicle service domain.

The goal of this role is to produce software that not only meets formal requirements but anticipates unspoken needs through a rich understanding of vehicle diagnostics.



You will be responsible for ensuring that our diagnostic tools provide a seamless, productive experience for technicians and service engineering operations worldwide.

Education:

Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Software Engineering (SE), or a related technical field.

Required Experience:

Software Development: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in software development.

Languages: Expert-level proficiency in Java Script is required.

Systems Integration: Proven experience developing libraries or runtimes for integration into larger product ecosystems.
