Key Responsibilities -
• Network Operation and Maintenance: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of network to
ensure high availability, performance, and capacity management.
• Maintaining and upgradation of network links and hardware.
• Network Security: Implementing security policies to protect network from internal and external
threats. Conducting security audit and vulnerability assessment to identify and fix the address of
the risk.
• New Setup rollout, complete network, and system setup.
• Work with ISPs and vendors for issue resolution and new implementations.
• Ensure proper documentation of network topologies, changes, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours maintenance windows as needed.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues using tools like Solar Winds, PRTG,
or Nagios.
• Apply patches and firmware updates to networking devices as required.
• Participate in network infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

Skill Set -




• Strong technical knowledge of router, switches, Firewall and other network devices.
• Knowledge of MPLS, P2P, ILL 802.1X and SD Wan, Zscaler
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 technologies (STP, VLANs, trunking, port security, Ether Channel)
• Good understanding of Layer 3 concepts (routing protocols, static/dynamic routing, ACLs).
• Experience with switches and routers from vendors like Cisco, Dell, HP, or Juniper.
• Familiarity with network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, NAC).
• Robust troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• knowledge of network protocols like EIGRP, BGP, OSPF etc.
• Good communication skills, documentation abilities and willingness to take on new
responsibilities

Qualifications:
• B.E / B. Sc. IT / B.C.A in IT is preferable, with CCNA / CCNP certification.
