The Area Service Officer will be a critical link between our technology and the businesses that rely on it, ensuring that every POS terminal operates smoothly and that any disruptions are resolved quickly and efficiently.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of POS service at client sites. From the moment a new terminal arrives, you will install, configure, and test the device to guarantee it meets both technical specifications and client expectations. When issues arise, you will diagnose hardware faults, resolve software glitches, and replace components as needed, all while maintaining a professional demeanor and clear communication with the client.
The typical day includes a mix of scheduled installations, emergency repair calls, and preventive maintenance visits. You will travel across the Pune region using your own two‑wheeler, adhering to a daily schedule that balances efficiency with thoroughness. Accurate documentation is essential; each service call must be logged in the company's ticketing system, detailing the problem, actions taken, and any follow‑up required. This data helps the central technical team identify trends and improve product reliability.
Performance in this position is measured by key metrics such as first‑time‑fix rate, average response time, and client satisfaction scores.
A proactive approach—identifying potential issues before they impact business—is highly valued. You will also be expected to stay current with the latest POS hardware releases and software updates, participating in regular training sessions organized by Innoviti Technology.
Ideal candidates possess a minimum educational qualification of 12th pass, though graduates are preferred. A valid driving license and ownership of a two‑wheeler are mandatory, as the role requires daily travel to client sites. Familiarity with basic networking (IP configuration, Wi‑Fi setup) and a comfort level with handheld diagnostic tools will help you succeed. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users and for building trust with merchants.
Innoviti Technology offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary of INR 18,000–20,000 per month, a daily allowance of INR 774, and a petrol reimbursement ranging from INR 4,000 to 5,000.
