Description

The Executive - Finance will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations within the Accounts India department. This position requires a deep understanding of client invoicing requirements, including various scenarios and compliance regulations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintain strong relationships with clients, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

- Understand and interpret client invoicing requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and localization standards.
- Manage and oversee the billing process, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and resolving billing disputes.
- Collaborate with the relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of GST portal submissions and IRN generation via ERP.
- Maintain and update billing records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Analyze and report on billing trends, providing insights to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients to address billing inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting,



especially in the context of client billing.
- Support the finance team in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a billing role in Indian context.
- Strong knowledge of billing processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and dispute resolution.
- Experience in India billing and a good understanding of compliance and localization requirements.
- Familiarity with GST portal submissions and IRN generation via ERP is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proficient in using financial software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
