Role Description The Pediatric Intensivist will provide specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the pediatric intensive care units at Ovum Hospitals’ Hoskote and Bhattarahalli centers in Bengaluru East. This full-time,



in office role includes assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex pediatric medical conditions; coordinating multidisciplinary care with nursing, anesthesiology, pulmonology, and other specialty teams; and leading resuscitation and emergency interventions as needed. The Pediatric Intensivist will oversee ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced therapies, while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient progress, updating treatment plans, communicating clearly with families, participating in clinical case discussions, and supporting training and mentoring of junior doctors and critical care nursing staff. The role also involves contributing to quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate medical documentation and regulatory compliance.
