Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Legal Advisor at Taxcart. The Legal Advisor will provide practical legal guidance on global indirect tax matters, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts related to the company’s products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and drafting legal documents and policies, assessing legal risks, and advising internal teams on legal issues impacting product design, pricing, and customer relationships. The role involves collaborating with operations, product, finance,



and sales teams to ensure Taxcart’s offerings align with applicable laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions. The Legal Advisor will also monitor changes in tax and employment-related regulations that may affect the company and recommend appropriate updates to internal processes and documentation.
Qualifications
• Strong foundational knowledge of Law and the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, policies, and compliance documentation.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving Legal Issues, particularly in technology, SaaS, finance, or tax-related environments.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, actionable Legal Advice to non-legal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including remote-work considerations and glob
