Job Purpose
To manage procurement activities, ensure timely availability of materials, and develop robust vendor relationships while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle procurement of raw materials, engineering components, consumables, and other assigned materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices,



and prepare comparative statements.
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and follow up on timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve material-related issues, and support cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
• Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience: 2–5 years in procurement or purchase, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
• Skills: Vendor management, negotiation, analytical skills, Excel, and SAP knowledge.
