Job Description A US based client is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their India based team. This person will be responsible for to designing, implementing, securing, and supporting global enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, data center, cloud, and remote-access environments. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable network architectures while leading complex troubleshooting, network security initiatives, and infrastructure modernization efforts. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, and Juniper technologies, along with a strong background in network security, Zero Trust architecture, firewalls, VPNs, routing and switching, cloud connectivity, and technical leadership. This individual will partner closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to ensure reliable network performance, minimize risk, and support strategic enterprise initiatives. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a salary range of 25-36 LPA. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience with significant responsibility for network security and enterprise infrastructure.
Robust hands-on expertise with Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiAuthenticator.
Deep knowledge of enterprise LAN/WAN architecture, SD-WAN traffic engineering, routing and switching protocols including BGP and OSPF.
Experience designing and supporting network segmentation, firewall management, intrusion prevention, secure remote access, and site-to-site VPN solutions.
Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Meraki networking technologies.
Experience managing enterprise Wi-Fi environments and secure wireless network architectures.
Knowledge of certificate management, RADIUS, TACACS+, external DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and authentication services.




Experience troubleshooting complex network performance, availability, resiliency, and security issues across multi-vendor environments.
Experience utilizing network monitoring and security tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, ManageEngine, Splunk, or similar platforms.
Solid documentation, communication, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience with Juniper networking and wireless technologies.
Experience supporting Azure, AWS, and hybrid-cloud networking environments.
Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, network access control (NAC), identity-based security, and endpoint security solutions.
Experience working with SIEM platforms, security event correlation, incident response processes, and penetration-test remediation.
Industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE4/NSE7, Cisco CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent.
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, and CIS Controls.
