Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role at Small Scale Industries is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, and adjusting machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency.



The role involves inspecting finished components, performing routine machine maintenance, and documenting production data to support quality and process improvements. The CNC Machinist will collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and ensure safe, consistent operations.
Qualifications

• Strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, calibration, and safe operation of CNC equipment.
• Proficiency in Machining and Milling, with the ability to interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
