Job Description: Trainee / Junior QC Analyst (HPLC)

Role Summary
The Junior QC Analyst (HPLC) will assist the Quality Control team in performing routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and other basic wet-chemistry techniques. The role requires strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
• Instrument Operation:
Assist in setting up and operating HPLC systems for routine sample analysis under the guidance of senior analysts.
• Sample Preparation: Prepare test samples, mobile phases, standard solutions, and reagents accurately as per approved analytical methods.
• Routine Testing: Perform basic assay, impurity, and dissolution testing of pharmaceutical or chemical samples using HPLC.
• Documentation & Data Entry: Record raw data, observations, and calculations neatly into laboratory notebooks, worksheets, and software logs in compliance with GLP guidelines.
• Equipment Maintenance: Help carry out daily startup/shutdown checks, basic column care, and routine cleaning of HPLC instruments.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all plant safety rules, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediately report any laboratory deviations, spills, or Out-of-Specification (OOS) results to the section he
