About the Role
We are looking for an Admission Counsellor who will be responsible for connecting with prospective
students, understanding their requirements, providing relevant information about courses/programs,
and supporting them throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle incoming leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
• Connect with prospective students and understand their requirements.
• Explain courses, programs, fees, eligibility and admission process.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates.
• Convert qualified leads into admissions.
• Maintain accurate lead and admission records.
• Coordinate with the academic/admission team for documentation and enrollment.
• Address candidate queries and provide timely assistance.
• Achieve assigned admission and conversion targets.
• Prepare regular updates on leads, follow-ups and conversions.
Required Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good counselling and convincing skills.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to handle multiple leads and priorities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM tools.
• Prior experience in admissions, counselling, education sales or inside sales will be an advantage.
