Located in Punjab’s Mansa district, Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd. (TSPL) represents the largest private thermal power facility in North India, with an installed capacity of 1980 MW, contributing nearly 30% of the state’s electricity demand. Meenakshi Energy Ltd. (MEL) in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district has a capacity of 1000 MW, while Vedanta Ltd. Chhattisgarh Thermal Power Plant (VLCTPP) in Singhitarai village, Sakti district, is a 1200 MW coal-based thermal power plant. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess new organic and inorganic growth opportunities in the power sector including thermal, Renewable, Storage,



Nuclear and Power Distribution business.
• Conduct commercial, financial, and regulatory due diligence for proposed opportunities.
• Prepare business cases, valuation models, and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
• Track market trends, policy developments, and competitive landscape to proactively identify growth avenues.
• Support senior leadership in investment proposals, board submissions, and strategic approvals.

Education and Qualifications:
• Engineering / MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in the power and energy sector.
• Experience in business development or strategy.
• Exposure to financial modeling, analytics, and commercial evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Indian power market dynamics and regulations.
