Job Summary:
The Transport Incharge for Ambulance is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the ambulance services at Continental Hospitals. This includes supervising ambulance drivers, ensuring timely and protected transportation of patients, managing vehicle maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The Transport Incharge will also coordinate with the emergency department and other hospital departments to optimize ambulance availability and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Ambulance Operations Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of ambulance services, ensuring timely and safe transportation of patients to and from the hospital.
• Ensure that all ambulance drivers are well-trained, qualified, and compliant with legal and safety standards.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to allocate ambulances based on emergency needs and patient requirements.

Team Leadership:
• Supervise and manage ambulance drivers, assigning them shifts and ensuring they adhere to schedules.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide training,



and foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.

Vehicle Maintenance and Readiness:
• Ensure all ambulances are well-maintained, fully stocked with necessary medical equipment, and ready for emergency response at all times.
• Regularly monitor and manage vehicle servicing, repairs, and cleanliness.
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance and inspections in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure that all ambulance operations comply with health and safety regulations, hospital policies, and relevant laws.
• Monitor driving practices to ensure that all staff operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that patient confidentiality and dignity are maintained during transportation.

Coordination and Communication:
• Act as a liaison between the emergency department and ambulance team to ensure seamless patient care and transp
