Role Description This is a full time remote role for a NodeJS Intern at PPStack. The intern will support the development and maintenance of NodeJS-based applications and APIs, working closely with senior developers to implement new features, fix bugs,



and optimize performance. Daily tasks include writing clean, testable JavaScript/TypeScript code, integrating third-party services, and contributing to backend architecture for PPStack’s learning platforms and internal tools. The intern will participate in code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, content), and help document technical implementations and workflows. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in security, scalability, and reliability in cloud-based EdTech solutions.
Qualifications
• Foundational backend development skills, including NodeJS, JavaScript (or TypeScript), and familiarity with Express or similar frameworks.
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and JSON-based data exchange.
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows, with the ability to collaborate using shared repositories.
