Who we are
The Root® is a creative & influencer marketing agency — HQ'd in Bhopal, working remote-first with clients across India. We help businesses look sharp online and grow: branding, websites, content, creators and ads, all under one roof.

Our stand: the internet is drowning in copy-paste, machine-made “content soup.” Clients pay us to rise above it — work made by humans, with taste, that a real person will proudly defend.

“If it smells like slop, it doesn’t ship.” That's not a slogan for us — it's the filter every piece of work goes through before a client sees it.

The role, in one line
You own the front door of the business. Every client we serve starts as a conversation you had — and every rupee we collect starts with a proposal you closed.

What you'll actually do
Run the five doors of outreach:
● Warm network — the strongest door in this industry. Build and work a list of contacts, and ask everyone you meet: “who else should I be talking to?”
● WhatsApp — where Indian business actually happens. Short intro, our one-pager, then a call.

● LinkedIn — connect with the right owners and marketing heads, converse like a human, and move to a call by message 3–5.
● Cold email — reaching businesses we don’t know yet, using our four-line formula: something true about them, the gap you noticed, what we do about it, one small ask.
● Our own socials — lean on @wearetheroot as proof of work whenever a lead checks us out.
Own the pipeline, start to close:
● Every lead lives in the tracker, no exceptions — New → Contacted → Talking → Met → Proposal → Won (or Lost/Later, both logged).
● Run the 30-minute discovery call: listen 70%, talk 30%, and leave with a clear picture of the client’s goals, budget, and what “this worked” looks like in six months.
● Close with: “This was helpful. Give us 48 hours — you’ll have a clear plan and an exact price, in writing.”
● Coordinate with Operations and Finance to get scope and pricing right, and get proposals out within 48 hours of e
