About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Accounts Executive with strong hands-on knowledge of TallyPrime to manage day-to-day accounting and financial documentation.
The candidate should be comfortable independently handling routine accounting activities and coordinating with management.
Responsibilities
* Maintain day-to-day accounts in TallyPrime
* Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Perform bank reconciliations
* Conduct customer,
vendor and ledger reconciliations
* Maintain invoices, vouchers and supporting accounting records
* Handle GST-related accounting and reconciliation
* Handle TDS-related entries and documentation
* Assist with monthly and year-end account closing
* Coordinate with CA and auditors for taxation, GST, TDS and audit requirements
* Prepare basic accounting reports and MIS for management
* Ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of financial records
Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong practical knowledge of TallyPrime
* Positive understanding of GST and TDS
* Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting work
* B.Com / M.Com or relevant qualification preferred
Experience in FMCG, food processing, manufacturing or distribution
