Role Description This is a full-time, in office Registered Nurse role based at SBM Hospital in Kollam. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing fertility and IVF treatments, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients and treatment rooms, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and coordinating with physicians, consultants, and other healthcare professionals.



The nurse will educate patients and families about treatment plans, post-procedure care, and overall health management, while ensuring strict adherence to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient privacy regulations. The role also involves supporting patients emotionally, responding to clinical emergencies, and contributing to continuous quality improvement in the unit.
Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent).
• Clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, fertility care, or related hospital settings is highly preferred.
• Strong patient-care skills, including assessment, medication administration, IV management, and post-procedure monitoring.
• Knowledge of infection control practices, clinical safety protocols, and documentation standards in a hospital environment.
