Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners, and expanding the brand’s presence in key markets. The individual will conduct market research, analyze sales data, and develop strategies to increase revenue, improve product positioning, and drive customer engagement.



Daily tasks include meeting prospective clients, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating with the marketing and operations teams, and preparing regular performance reports. The role also involves representing Ancient Roots at events, trade shows, and brand activations to strengthen visibility and support business growth.
Qualifications
• Strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
• Experience in relationship management, client servicing, and stakeholder communication, preferably in FMCG, food, or wellness sectors.
• Competence in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning to inform business and growth decisions.
