Role Description This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain general ledgers, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities.



The role also involves supporting tax and statutory compliance, coordinating with internal teams to collect documentation, and responding to client queries regarding financial records. The Accountant will use accounting software and productivity tools, follow established processes, and contribute to improving financial reporting and controls.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Indian tax regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
