Overview

The Business Conduct Investigation team (BCI), part of Microsoft’s Audit Risk and Compliance (ARC) group, is seeking a talented compliance skilled with analytical and communication skills to join our investigations team. The position will be based in Gurgaon, India, will report to the BCI Group Manager based in Beijing, China and will be a key member of the worldwide BCI team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate allegations of business misconduct and policy violations, including allegations relating to fraud and corruption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leverage tools, data analysis, and technology to gather facts effectively and efficiently.




• Lead or participate in interviews with case parties and subject matter experts.
• Prioritize effectively, adapt to changing demands, leverage AI tools, and contribute to team and organizational goals.
• Document activities and work performed in the case management tool.
• Prepare clear and concise reports that enable company attorneys and outside counsel to make informed findings.
• Identify actionable insights that can be shared with stakeholders to improve processes, develop business solutions, and mitigate risk.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CA, CFE, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
• Experience conducting investigations within organizations providing audit, finance, legal, HR, compliance, or law enforcement services.
• Experience working with data analysis, AI, and e-discovery tools and applications.
• Familiarity with channel distribution concepts and related business processes.
