Trade Marketing Manager GT is responsible for both trade & shopper marketing

for General trade Channel. The incumbent will have to devise strategic inputs to aid channel growth.

Key responsibilities include trade activations and scheme, loyalty programs, shopper activations and

field force efficiency. He/she would be accountable for efficient budget management.

Detailed Responsibilities (non-conclusive)

Strategic Responsibilities :

• Roll out monthly trade schemes / on pack promotions for channel partners and consumers
• Devise and own channel partner engagement programs.
• Execute effective sub channel visibility and asset deployment strategy.




• Promoter Efficiency & throughput.
• Analyze sales related metrics like ECO, TLSD, productivity, etc. and deduce actionable insights.
• Work closely with the business heads and top management in managing the consistency of the

brand and supporting them with initiatives which are in line with the business objectives

• Market and environmental scanning, advice on business trends and changes in the market place

Business Objectives

• To achieve volume and value objectives of the assigned channel.
• Overall ownership of activity/ promotions and trade marketing activities across general trade outlet.
• NPI launch planning and execution.
• Analyse market trends and behavior to uncover new business and sales opportunities.
• Compile, analyze and present data on competition and the business environment.
• Operating all Schemes & Promotional Activities (Marketing & Sales) as per prior approvals and

discussed
