• Core Expertise: Direct Tax, Income-tax Returns, Capital Gains Computation, Tax Research, Taxation Law
• Technical Skills: Tax Return Preparation, Assessment & Appellate Proceedings, Client Documentation, Tax Compliance, Trades Reconciliation, Tax Payments
• Tools & Platforms: External market data sources, Internal research portals, Tax software (e.g., ClearTax, TaxCafe – preferred)
• Skilled Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax, preferably from Big 4 firms or CA firms
• Preferred Add-ons: Experience working with clients in Gujarat International Finance Tech-City (GIFT City), exposure to international taxation or cross-border tax issues
• Soft Skills: Strong communication (verbal & written), client handling, teamwork, attention to detail, professionalism, independence, and objectivity
• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree (MBA or CA not preferred for this role)

This is work from office. All F2F interviews as well.

Client Support

• Research & Support the seniors in replying to queries raised by clients on issues such as capital gains computation, trades reconciliation, tax payments, return of income, etc.
• Support in preparing the income-tax return for clients. Undertaking technical research on the income-tax provisions impacting the taxation of clients.
• Understand the basic technical issues during reviewing data related to assignment and bring discrepancies / additional data requirements to the attention of the team.
• Preparing submissions in relation to assessment and appellate proceedings for clients and support seniors in appearing before the income-tax authorities.
• Support in handling administrative responsibilities for allocated clients such as engagement letters, filing of client papers, billing follow-up, etc.
