Job Description – Land Acquisition (Real Estate)
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Industry: Real Estate Development (Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use Projects)
Experience: 10+ Years
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Land Acquisition from the real estate sector with a proven track record of identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and acquiring land parcels for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The candidate must have 10+ years of relevant experience and should have successfully closed at least 2 land acquisition transactions in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and source strategic land parcels for residential, commercial, plotted development, and mixed-use projects.
• Conduct market research and feasibility analysis to evaluate development potential.
• Lead end-to-end land acquisition activities including land sourcing, negotiations, due diligence, agreement execution, and registration.
• Coordinate with legal teams for title verification, encumbrance checks, and risk assessment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with landowners,
brokers, consultants, and government authorities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and ensure cost-effective acquisition of land assets.
• Manage land aggregation opportunities and joint development agreements (JDAs), joint ventures (JVs), and outright purchases.
• Facilitate land conversion, approvals, and statutory clearances in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and acquisition documentation.
• Monitor local real estate market trends, land values, and competitor activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Land Acquisition within Real Estate Developers.
• Demonstrated experience in acquiring land for residential, commercial, township, plotted development, or mixed-use projects.
• Must have successfully closed at least 2 land acquisition transactions from id
