Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Purchase Head – Project to lead project procurement activities for electrical and EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical material procurement, vendor development, commercial negotiations, cost optimization, and supply chain coordination.
The role requires close collaboration with project, engineering, stores, quality control,



and finance teams to ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and adherence to project specifications and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities• Lead end-to-end project procurement, including enquiries, technical and commercial evaluation, negotiations, purchase order release, and closure.
• Develop, evaluate, empanel, and manage vendors and OEMs, ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery.
• Manage procurement of electrical materials, including transformers, DG sets, cables and terminations, busducts, cable trays, conduits, lighting, switches, sockets, and accessories.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties to achieve cost savings against project budgets and BOQs.
• Monitor purchase orders, amendments, dispatch clearances, material deliveries, and supplier commitments to prevent project delays.
