Experience in alcohol manufacturing plant is a MANDATE.
· Supervise sampling, inspection and testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, water and finished beverages against approved specifications.
· Monitor production, filling and packaging quality parameters, hygiene, sanitation and GMP compliance; ensure prompt containment of deviations.
· Ensure compliance with FSSAI requirements, HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO/FSSC 22000 and internal food-safety standards.
· Review laboratory results, batch records, calibration status, traceability records and product-release documentation.
· Investigate non-conformances, rejections, process failures and customer complaints; lead root-cause analysis and CAPA closure.
· Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Stores,



Procurement and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming-material and process quality.
· Maintain SOPs, specifications, quality plans and controlled records; ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated, and test methods are followed.
· Allocate work to QC personnel, train and mentor the team, enforce protected laboratory practices and ensure adequate shift coverage.
· Track quality KPIs, analyse trends, drive continuous improvement, reduce defects and cost of poor quality, and report performance to the Quality Manager.
· Minimum 2 years experience in beer manufacturing.
