Position : Business Development & Acquisition Lead – Wholesale/Consumer Products

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development & Acquisition Lead to help identify and source potential acquisition opportunities for our company.The ideal candidate will have strong business development, lead generation, market research, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify established businesses and build connections with business owners, brokers, and industry professionals.
Our primary focus is on established wholesale, apparel, accessories, and consumer-product businesses with existing brands, products, distribution networks, and ideally licensed brands.

Key Responsibilities
• Research and identify potential businesses that align with our acquisition criteria.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified acquisition opportunities.
• Identify potential targets through online research, industry databases,



business-for-sale platforms, LinkedIn, trade associations, and other relevant sources.
• Reach out to business brokers, owners, founders, and industry contacts through email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and business owners.
• Qualify acquisition opportunities based on business size, industry, brand strength, products, distribution, financial profile, and strategic fit.
• Conduct initial research and gather relevant information about potential acquisition targets.
• Track outreach, conversations, leads, and opportunities in a structured CRM or tracking system.
• Generate regular reports on pipeline activity, qualified opportunities, and outreach performance.
• Coordinate with management to present promising acquisition opportunities for further evaluation.
• Continuously research new markets, companies, brands, and acquisition opportunities.
