Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full time, remote role responsible for driving strategic growth and revenue for Taxcart. This role leads the identification and pursuit of new market opportunities, develops and executes business development plans, and builds long-term partnerships with key customers and ecosystem partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the sales pipeline, guiding account management activities,



and collaborating with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs. The Vice President will negotiate complex commercial agreements, refine go-to-market strategies, and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the business development and sales teams. The role also includes monitoring market trends, representing Taxcart at industry events, and reporting on business development results to the executive team.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated strength in New Business Development and Sales, including creating and managing pipelines and closing complex deals.
• Experience in Business Planning and strategic growth initiatives, with a proven ability to design and execute scalable go-to-market strategies.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including structuring commercial terms and navigating multi-party agreements.
