Role Description The Purchaser will manage day-to-day procurement activities, including sourcing ingredients, supplies, and equipment needed for events. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves negotiating with vendors, obtaining quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods within budget and quality standards. The Purchaser will maintain accurate purchase records, track inventory levels, and coordinate closely with kitchen, operations, and event planning teams to forecast requirements. Responsibilities also include evaluating supplier performance,



identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting compliance with food safety and quality guidelines.
Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in food & beverage, catering, hospitality, or related industries.
• Strong skills in vendor management, negotiation, and price comparison to secure favorable terms and reliable supply.
• Ability to track inventory, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation using spreadsheets or procurement tools.
• Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to assess product standards and ensure consistency for event requirements.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with culinary, operations, and event teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety, storage requirements, and logistical considerations for perishable items.
• Comfort with numbers and budgeting, including cost analysis
