SAFETY ENGINEER

Location: Kurkumbh, Pune, Maharashtra
Experience Required: 9–12 Years
Qualification: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with ADIS/PDIS mandatory

Job Responsibilities
Implement and monitor health, safety and environmental (HSE) procedures at the ongoing manufacturing plant construction project.
Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, HIRA and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, client HSE standards and industrial safety requirements.
Monitor construction activities, including work at height, lifting operations, hot work, confined space entry and mechanical equipment erection.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, safety audits and emergency preparedness drills.
Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and protected work practices.
Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with contractors,



site engineers and project management teams to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, incident records and HSE compliance reports.
Required Skills & Experience
9–12 years of experience in industrial safety, manufacturing plants and construction projects.
Hands-on experience in industrial plant construction, contractor safety management and site safety supervision.
Strong knowledge of HIRA, JSA, PTW, PPE, emergency response and accident prevention.
BE/B.Tech in any discipline with ADIS/PDIS certification mandatory.
Good knowledge of statutory safety requirements, HSE audits and industrial construction safety practices.

Preferred Candidates: Safety professionals with experience in industrial construction and manufacturing plant projects.
