Purpose of the role
The Head of IT Asset Management owns the strategy, governance and lifecycle of our hardware and software assets across the Group. This is a senior, hands-on role: scoping out our current IT Asset from the ground up, leading the changes needed to modernise them, and giving the
Director direct, commercial visibility of where cost and risk sit in the estate — including unused or
underutilised assets

Experience
● Proven, senior IT asset management (ITAM) experience, ideally having scoped or led an ITAM
function or transformation from the ground up.
● A track record of leading change or transformation projects end-to-end, not just running business as usual.
● Solid commercial and financial acumen — comfortable identifying, quantifying and presenting




cost-saving opportunities to senior leadership.
● Experience within a multi-brand or multi-region organisation.
● Working knowledge of device lifecycle management and software licence management/compliance.

Skills
● Strategic thinking, balanced with the ability to get into the operational detail when needed.
● Strong stakeholder management — credible presenting to Director level and above.
● Excellent analytical skills — comfortable turning asset and spend data into a clear savings case.
● Project management discipline — able to scope, plan and deliver change without a large team
around you.
