Stores typically go live within 20–30 minutes, making adoption fast and straightforward. Merchants using Updatrr report an average ~21% cart recovery rate and ~60% COD confirmation, highlighting the platform’s impact on revenue and operational efficiency.
Role Description The Business Development & Partnerships Manager – Shopify Ecosystem will lead Updatrr’s growth within the Shopify partner landscape, focusing on identifying, building, and scaling strategic relationships. This full-time, on-site role, based in Gurgaon, involves sourcing and onboarding agency partners, app developers, and Shopify experts, as well as maintaining strong ongoing relationships that drive merchant adoption. The manager will conduct market and competitor research, craft partnership value propositions,



negotiate and close collaboration agreements, and coordinate co-marketing initiatives with ecosystem partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a partnership pipeline, tracking performance metrics, collaborating with product and marketing teams on partner feedback, representing Updatrr in Shopify and e-commerce community events, and ensuring partners are enabled with the right resources and training to effectively promote Updatrr.
Qualifications
• Experience in business development, partnerships, or account management within the e-commerce, SaaS, or Shopify ecosystem.
• Robust relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of Shopify, D2C brands, and e-commerce growth levers, including cart recovery, COD workflows, and messaging automation.
