Role Description The Research Assistant Professor will hold a full-time, on-site position based in the Gobindgarh, Punjab Area, contributing to the university’s research and academic initiatives. Responsibilities include designing and conducting research projects, preparing grant proposals, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing findings in reputable journals and conferences.



The role also involves mentoring students in research methodologies, supervising research assistants, and supporting curriculum development within the relevant discipline. The Research Assistant Professor will collaborate with faculty across departments, participate in academic committees, and actively engage in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities that enhance the university’s research profile. He/She will be responsible for establishing a CoE in the domain of Hydrology and water resource management.
Qualifications
• Advanced academic training, typically a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Earth Sciences, Climate Change, Water resource management and allied discipline; robust record of research or scholarly publications.
• Demonstrated experience in designing research studies, applying appropriate methodologies, and using data analysis tools or statistical software.
